Mediterranean Chicken Legs Recipe

Chicken is a staple of the American diet. Mediterranean Chicken legs make for an affordable cut that can often be found on sale at a discounted price at your local supermarket. The legs also make a great meal or snack that can be gobbled down.

Weight watchers substitute wet sauces for dry spices to reduce calorie intake. This recipe is a healthy alternative to fried chicken or chicken drenched in heavy sauces. Serve your chicken with home-cooked french fries, salad or fresh vegetables.

Mediterranean Chicken Legs Ingredients

  • 10 chicken legs
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic cloves
  • 1/8 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/8 tsp. cumin
  • 1/8 tsp. tumeric
  • 1/8 tsp. allspice
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. caraway

Mediterranean Chicken Legs Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450˚.
  2. Place foil on bake pan and spray with Pam.
  3. Spread olive oil on chicken legs.
  4. Pour lemon juice on chicken legs.
  5. Sprinkle spices over chicken legs.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Serve with french fresh or fresh vegetables.
