Prime Rib

In my family when they hear prime rib for dinner they all come running. From my husband at age 65 to my grandson at age 2 we devour a roast. I try and make a roast bigger than I need as leftovers are delicious warmed or as a cold sandwich.

Serves: 8

 

Ingredients
  • 1 Rib Roast
  • minced garlic
  • oregano
  • cracked pepper
  • kosher salt
Instructions
  1. Season top of meat with minced garlic, oregano, cracked pepper, and kosher salt.
  2. Place on rack. Roast at 450 for 15 min.
  3. Drop temp to 325 and cook till internal temp us 115 degrees for rare.
  4. Cut 1/2 inch to 1 inch slices and serve.
