Salisbury Steak Recipe This salisbury steak recipe is a great comfort food meal.  Add mashed potatoes as a side with a little of the excess sauce from the steaks.

Serves: 3

Salisbury Steak Ingredients

  • (1)1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 2 stalks of chopped celery
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped onion
  • 5 slices of stale bread
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Salisbury Steak Instructions

  1. Soak bread in water and squeeze out excess.
  2. Mix meat, vegetables and seasonings.
  3. Make 3 oblong patties and brown.
  4. Add tomato sauce and 1 can of water.
  5. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Enjoy.
