London Broil

London Broil

This marinade was given to me when I first got married 42 years ago by a fellow worker.  You won’t find any marinade easier.  Pour all the ingredients into a plastic bag, mix, and add the meat. I like to let sit in the sauce overnight for added flavor.

Ingredients
  • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2-3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1 onion (grated)
  • 5 lbs. flank steak (kosher) or sirloin steak
Instructions
  1. Mix garlic cloves, salt, soy sauce, ketchup, vegetable oil, pepper, oregano leaves and grated onion in  bowl.
  2. Marinate steak in gallon Ziploc bags overnight.
  3. Grill 6 minutes each side for rare/medium rare.
  4. Slice and serve.
